Senior Research Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Associate to join our High Throughput Screening group at Korro Bio, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing high throughput screens, as well as participating in the development and scaling of novel assays for our RNA editing platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, validate, and implement high throughput NGS and qPCR/dPCR based assays using automated high throughput equipment
- Deploy cell-based models and assays to screen drug candidates
- Participate in the development and scaling of various in vitro assays
- Collect and interpret data, and present at research updates to various project teams
- BS/MS with 2 – 5 years of experience in molecular and/or cell biology, or related field
- Experience with mammalian cell culture, aseptic technique, and cell-based assays in 96 and 384-well format
- Broad experience in biochemical and cell-based techniques, such as mammalian cell culture, transfections, qPCR, NGS, dPCR
- Familiarity with lab automation, liquid handling, and HTS instrumentation
- Ability to learn and implement new techniques, adapt rapidly, and analyze, report, and communicate data rigorously
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and documentation
