Physical Therapist Per Diem Opportunity at Virtua Health

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at Virtua Health, you will provide physical therapy examination and evaluation to determine prognosis, provide intervention, and update plan of care.
You will assist the manager/supervisor with clinical and operational issues, working together to improve processes and utilization of rehab services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with medical, ancillary professionals, and other team members/supervisors to provide optimum quality patient care and effective operations.
- Demonstrate comprehensive evaluation skills and interventions, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and modifying the plan of care as appropriate.
- Maintain and complete evaluations, patient records, reports, and all written documentation effectively and in a timely manner, in accordance with regulatory and department guidelines.
- Effectively utilize PTAs, aides, and other support staff as appropriate.
- Effectively communicate with patients and/or family/significant other in providing education and literature in accordance with the patient's age, physical condition, and cultural needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the APTA.
- Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- CPR certification.
