Job Summary

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Cambria Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown's Mission, Values, and Goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and seek to develop their skillset into a management role.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all staff support Cambria Hotel Pittsburgh Mission, Values, and Goals.
  • Implement all property policies and procedures in all departments, including Standard Operating Procedures, Safety and Emergency, and as outlined in the company's Policies and Procedures Manual, People and Culture Procedures, and Employee Handbook.
  • Act as a liaison between the front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and seasonal staff, communicating relevant information to the staff as needed.
  • Work with the General Manager to establish, monitor, and analyze seasonal programs and budget.
  • Support the creation and implementation of seasonal programmatic policies and procedures.
  • In collaboration with Human Resources, develop and conduct customer service training for all employees.
  • Cover shifts as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience.
  • Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
  • Computer knowledge in Windows environment as well as prior experience with various PMS and POS systems.
  • Proven ability to provide high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and with a team, and perform detail-oriented functions.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make key decisions.
  • Team leader/player.
  • Availability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as job dictates.
  • Professional and enthusiastic attitude.
