Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team at TJX Companies, Inc. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of products, while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Merchandising: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure products are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Experience: Engage and interact with customers to provide a positive and personalized shopping experience.
  • Team Management: Train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles, and monitor productivity to ensure tasks are completed according to store plan.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, and maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and associates to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor and address priorities.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking, and able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

Starting pay range: $13.50 to $14.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
