Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Payment Specialist to join our team at Sentara Healthcare.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely production of health plan/insurance payable disbursements on all product lines. This includes preparation, balancing, and reconciliation of weekly funding requirements and monthly disbursement reports for all payor sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile health plan/insurance payable disbursements
  • Prepare and balance weekly funding requirements and monthly disbursement reports
  • Ensure accurate and timely production of disbursements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and issues
