Assembly Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at DirectPath Recruiting Services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic assembly and soldering, with expertise in both through-hole and surface-mount technology (SMT) components.
As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality soldering on electronic assemblies, adhering to IPC and J-STD-001 standards, inspecting and verifying the quality of solder joints, and collaborating with team members to ensure production targets and quality metrics are met.
The estimated salary for this position is $21 per hour. In addition to your technical skills, you must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions, possess strong attention to detail, and be reliable and punctual with the ability to work a 4/10 schedule.
Preferred skills include knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards, familiarity with ESD safety practices, and experience with hand tools, soldering irons, and microscopes for fine pitch work.
