Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine care and perform specialized technical skills as needed
  • Report any unusual incidents or findings to the nursing staff
  • Maintain patient safety and well-being at all times
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Current EMT Basic certification
  • One year of experience as an EMT Basic on an ambulance crew preferred
  • Valid and current state-issued Class D driver's license
  • Clear driving record check
  • Current BLS certification through ILCOR-approved courses
  • CPI certification within 6 months of hire
Physical Demands

The EMT role requires good physical health and the ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods. Lifting at least 100 pounds is required, with the exception of lifting overhead. The ability to work in a moderate level of noise is also necessary.
