Project Leader for Quality and Value Engineering at FUJIFILM Sonosite, Inc.

Role Summary:


The Project Leader will spearhead initiatives aimed at elevating product quality, optimizing costs, and managing component lifecycle challenges. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancing product value and quality through engineering projects.
2. Oversee project management activities, including scoping, cost-benefit analysis, prioritization, and resource allocation.
3. Engage with product planners to facilitate smooth transitions during component phase-ins and phase-outs.
4. Manage resources effectively to ensure project objectives are met.
5. Coordinate with compliance and regulatory teams to guarantee adherence to required standards.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Electrical Engineering preferred) from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, including design and testing.
- At least 3 years of experience managing cross-functional product development teams.
- Six Sigma certification and PMP certification are preferred.
- Experience with international contract manufacturing and global project management.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across the organization.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
