Job Summary:

As a Nurse Manager, you will oversee the NICU department and cover the Pediatric Unit and PICU as needed. Your responsibilities will include managing the delivery of nursing services, ensuring safe patient care that meets or exceeds quality and clinical standards, and developing strategic plans for integrated services across the continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage departmental budgets, identify cost-saving strategies, and improve the quality of care.
  • Determine the appropriate staff mix, hire, train, and develop staff.
  • Develop and monitor departmental policies and procedures.
  • Resolve human resource and risk management issues.
  • Promote a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Minimum five (5) years of clinical nursing experience, including three (3) years of management/supervisory experience.
  • BSN and National Health/Nursing Administration Certification or MSN required for PICU and NICU Departments in CCS certified facilities.
