Position Overview:

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting evaluations and delivering therapy services tailored to each student's needs in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate students' communication abilities to identify disorders and determine eligibility for services.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to share information and ensure compliance with established protocols.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings for eligible students, including presenting evaluation findings and developing treatment strategies.
  • Create individualized treatment plans and educational resources to address communication challenges.
  • Guide students in utilizing communication technologies effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including progress reports and treatment documentation.
  • Engage in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to support student achievement.

Qualifications:
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the relevant state.
  • Preferred certification in Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Completion of competency programs as necessary.
  • Current CPR certification and health documentation as required.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Basic computer skills are essential.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
