We are looking for a skilled Child Life Specialist to work with our multidisciplinary team in the children's hospital. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional care to our young patients, and your passion for child development will inspire our team to provide the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment plans as needed
- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine treatment goals
- Design and implement recreational therapy treatment plans and individualized interventions
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless care
- Plan for patient discharge and recommend continued service or aftercare
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Child Life, or a related field
- Therapeutic Recreation or Child Life related internship
- Certification by the Child Life Certifying Commission (if applicable)
- One year of directly related professional experience
