About the Role

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for acquiring high-quality merchandise at the lowest possible cost. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain high-quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase cost.
  • Develop and ensure all elements of the purchase commitment are completed with proper required approvals.
  • Review requisitions for accuracy and completeness and prepare and process assigned purchase orders.
  • Monitor and reorder items needed for inventory.
  • Create and reconcile reports to ensure accuracy of payables.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure accuracy on availability, price, and delivery of items.
  • Expedite the delivery of purchases as necessary to achieve production and customer demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-4 years' experience required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
