Responsibilities
In today's world, the need for compassion and care is paramount. Our mission is to support our communities, particularly those who are vulnerable, and to enhance the healing process both within our facilities and in the broader community.
As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the care of patients who are experiencing severe health challenges, including those recovering from significant injuries, surgeries, or serious illnesses. Our nursing staff plays a vital role, acting as advocates for patients, providing guidance to families, and offering emotional support when needed.
Expectations for Medical Acute Unit Nursing:
- Ability to maintain vigilance and focus while monitoring patients with high acuity.
- Demonstrated capability to respond swiftly and effectively in urgent situations.
- Administration of medications as prescribed.
- Expertise in Cardiac Monitoring.
- Commitment to excellence in providing quality patient care.
Qualifications
Required Licenses and Skills:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma.
- A minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with skills validation.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- At least one (1) year of experience in an Acute Care environment is preferred.
