Job Title: Warehouse Tire Technician

Xpedient Logistics is seeking a skilled Warehouse Tire Technician to join our team. As a key member of our tire warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our tire warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tire Mounting: Properly mount tires onto rims using specialized equipment, ensuring correct alignment and secure fitting.
  • Tire Balancing: Use balancing machines to ensure tires are balanced properly, correcting any imbalances by adding or removing weights as needed.
  • Rubber Slicing: Accurately slice rubber to specified dimensions and shapes, ensuring safe and efficient slicing.
  • Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect tires for defects or damage before and after mounting, performing quality control checks to ensure all work meets company standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, tracking stock levels, and ordering supplies as needed, maintaining accurate records of all tire-related transactions and activities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on tire mounting and balancing equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, assisting customers with tire selection and providing recommendations based on their needs.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in mounting and balancing tires.
  • Experience in slicing rubber is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
Working Conditions:
  • Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Use of machinery and tools that require adherence to safety protocols.
  • Physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
