Experienced Automotive Upfit Technician Custom Parts Installer

Carolina Custom & Commercial Upfit is a specialized team of vehicle enthusiasts designing and building exceptional customizations. We aspire to build the go-to conversion and modification shop for the Southeast United States with an unparalleled customer experience.

An experienced Technician is required to do custom builds and commercial truck and car upfits. The custom builds include lift kits, wheel/tires, body kits, lights, side steps, engine performance bolt-ons, exhaust systems, and custom paint. The Upfitting involves building police cars and SUVs, fire trucks, and a large assortment of commercial builds. Thousands of builds a year come through this state-of-the-art facility with all modern equipment, AC, and located on Lake Norman.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine vehicle before starting work
  • Identify necessary work required to complete the job
  • Maintain customer satisfaction at or above company standards
  • Request necessary parts and supplies
  • Install parts proper to customer specs to include prepping vehicle
  • Document work performed
  • Perform work efficiently and according to company guidelines
Requirements:
  • An enthusiasm for seeing vehicle transformations is a plus
  • Service Tech experience
  • At least 2 years of up-fit install technician experience
  • Aftermarket install experience preferred
  • Successful track record
  • Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results
  • Team oriented
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
