About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Transformation Manager to join our Process & Technology Transformation Team within the Controller's Organization at Georgia-Pacific. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic transformation initiatives that revolutionize accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management for controller process and technology transformation initiatives, across the project lifecycle.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, incorporating both Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to the project scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including controllership, finance, IT, business leadership, and operations to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and resources, identifying risks and dependencies and proactively mitigating issues to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and facilitating communication to ensure collaboration and accountability.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and reporting to stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, milestones, and key deliverables.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Oversee change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new systems, processes, or organizational changes, minimizing disruption and maximizing stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading end-to-end project management.
  • Experience working on an Agile and/or Waterfall team, with the ability to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets that incorporate the appropriate methodology based on project scope and requirements.
  • Experience collaborating closely with stakeholders from various departments to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Proficiency in managing project scope, schedule, and resources, identifying risks and dependencies, and proactively mitigating issues to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and facilitating communication to ensure collaboration and accountability.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining project data for reporting and statuses in PM tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheets, and Microsoft Projects.
  • Experience with change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new systems, workflows, or project outcomes across the organization.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience in project management tool SPM ServiceNow.
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma.
