Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and treatments to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards.
  • Complete documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Registered by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire date.
  • Recent experience as a Sonographer preferred.
