Job Description

International Logic Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java/DevOps Engineer to join our team in the Washington, DC area. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in enhancing major functionalities of our e-commerce platform using new technologies and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and product owners to ensure specification needs are met.
  • Interface with internal teams, customers, and partners to design, implement, and support solutions for application development, security, analytics, and performance management.
  • Work closely with QA teams to define test plans and test cases for applications.
  • Perform routine software maintenance and troubleshoot scalability and performance problems.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Java/J2EE development, with a strong background in Core Java.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Maven and Jenkins.
  • AWS Cloud experience is required.
  • Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PL/SQL experience is a must.
  • Quick learner with good team and individual player skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
  • EJB, SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, Hibernate, Shellscript, Jquery, JavaScript, JSON, WebServices, Log4J, SoapUI.
  • J2EE design patterns like DAO, Abstract, Session Facade, Factory Pattern, and Singleton.
  • SVN, JIRA, Websphere application server, RAD.
  • Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Jfrog (CI/CD pipeline implementation experience from design level).
