Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead for Generative AI Solutions to join our team at Guidewire Software. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and building end-to-end Generative AI platforms for critical business needs in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of Generative AI infrastructure for Large Language Models (LLMs) and create data solutions, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning for models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.
- Design and implement scalable and efficient AI infrastructure using cloud technologies such as AWS.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Generative AI and machine learning and apply that knowledge to improve our solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent level of professional competency.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning and Data Science.
- Demonstrated leadership experience on technical projects.
- Expertise in Python programming language and experience with AWS cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of ML Ops good practices for model development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience developing model pipelines using AWS Sagemaker.
- Strong understanding of neural network and transformer algorithms for large language and chat models.
Preferred Skills:
- Data engineering experience with SQL, Spark, or AWS Glue.
- Experience using Docker or Kubernetes to deploy containerized applications.
- Creating APIs services for backend application functionality.
- Experience using TeamCity and Terraform for infrastructure setup and CI/CD.
