About the Role:
As a Senior ML Engineer on the AI Image Generation team, you will design, implement, and fine-tune image and video AI models that power our AI bots. Your expertise in machine learning and scalable infrastructure will be crucial in developing innovative features that revolutionize online interactions.
The Imagine Team at Cantina is responsible for all generative image, video, and machine vision services. Our AI bots are multimodal, allowing them to text, talk, and send selfies to users. We have developed a stable diffusion-based image generation pipeline that creates photo-realistic, consistent characters.
The Imagine team is constantly striving to improve the quality, character consistency, responsiveness to prompting, and incorporation of custom looks and appearance traits.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have a deep technical foundation in machine learning, specifically in image synthesis. You should also have 2+ years of experience building production-grade machine learning models in industry and/or academic research settings. Strong programming skills in Python and deploying Python-based services are essential. Additionally, you should be familiar with tools and frameworks involved in AI image generation, such as Stable Diffusion, Visual Transformers, and Tensorflow. Experience building end-to-end scalable ML infrastructure with on-premise or cloud platforms is also required. Strong teamwork skills, including communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical team members, are necessary for success in this role.
Location:
Cantina has offices located in Sunnyvale, CA, San Francisco, CA, and Brooklyn, NY. While we have a strong focus on individuals near our office hubs, we offer fully remote and hybrid employment opportunities.
Pay Equity:
In compliance with Pay Transparency Laws, the base salary range for this role is between $175,000-250,000 for those in the San Francisco Bay Area. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
