Clinical Nurse Coordinator Cardiac Step Down Unit

Overview
Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Cardiac Step Down Unit team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating unit functions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care and coordinate unit activities.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes, ensuring seamless transitions for patients and families.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to drive improved outcomes and service excellence.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to enhance staff performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling and resource allocation to ensure optimal unit operations.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse licensure and Associate Degree in Nursing required.
