About the Role
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the Cardiac Step Down Unit at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a key member of the healthcare team, the CNC coordinates and evaluates nursing care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse.
- Associate Degree.
