Key Responsibilities:
Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Construction Project Supervisor.

The ideal candidate should possess commercial construction expertise and meet the following criteria:

• Prioritizes safety as the foremost concern on the job site and ensures adherence to company and site-specific safety protocols and regulations.

• Collaborates with Estimating, Division Management, and Project Management to oversee, guide, and coordinate the management of construction projects, serving as the primary contact for owners, designers, and subcontractors to guarantee effective and organized project execution.

• Develops and implements comprehensive schedules and production strategies while considering budgetary and safety objectives.

• Assists the Project Manager in generating project status updates.

• Responsible for compiling daily reports, progress updates, compliance documentation, and logs.

• Supervises the review of plans and specifications in line with contract documents and coordinates shop drawings.

• Procures necessary tools and materials for the project to ensure availability in accordance with the work schedule.

• Determines staffing requirements and timing based on construction methodology and the availability of tools and equipment for each project phase.

• Recruits, hires, and directs the activities of all company field personnel on-site in compliance with HR protocols.

• Prepares or oversees the submission of payroll to the Payroll Department along with all documentation needed to adhere to HR and Payroll policies.

• Engages with supervisory staff and employees (with appropriate support from HR and Legal) to address complaints and grievances within the workforce.

• Collaborates with supervisory staff, employees, engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers to enhance construction techniques and resolve project-related issues.

• Ensures compliance with construction schedules by assessing appropriate staffing levels and managing material and tool procurement.

• Oversees and coordinates subcontractors to ensure adherence to subcontract agreements.

• Upholds and enforces company policies and procedures.

• Coordinates and supervises regulatory inspections.

• Must be open to travel.

Qualifications and Skills:
• 4-7 years of experience in industrial construction.

• Proven experience as a lead supervisor on at least one project.

• Experience with projects valued up to $80M is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to spend a significant portion of the day outdoors on construction sites.

• Must be capable of standing for extended periods and working at heights.

• Must be able to work in various weather conditions (including extreme heat and cold) and in diverse work environments.

• Capable of lifting/moving up to 70 pounds.

• Must be able to stand, crawl, climb ladders and stairs, balance, stoop, and kneel, among other physical activities associated with construction sites.

• Must be able to endure prolonged exposure to noise, fumes, airborne particles, etc., typical of construction environments.

• Proficient in using hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls.
