Job Description

Role Overview

Empire Today is seeking a driven and energetic sales professional to join our team as an Outside Sales Consultant. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for meeting face-to-face with customers in their homes to provide expert flooring solutions and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets through self-generated sales and referrals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their flooring needs and provide personalized solutions
  • Utilize electronic tablets, measuring devices, and sample boards to present flooring options and close sales
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on product knowledge and sales strategies

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and a vehicle with room for flooring sample boards
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, as well as attend sales meetings and training sessions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to use electronic devices and software to manage sales and customer interactions
