Tal Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to serve as the Director of Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Behavioral Health Services department, including the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategic Direction: Provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care and outcomes.
- Department Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Health Services department, including the management of staff and resources.
- Staff Development: Recruit, train, and supervise staff within the Behavioral Health Services department.
- Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary leadership team to enhance service integration and effectiveness.
- Academic and Research Opportunities: Demonstrate a strong academic interest in teaching and supervising psychiatric residents.
Qualifications:
- Education and Certification: MD degree and board certification in Psychiatry.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Licensure and Credentials: Current New York State Medical License, Medicaid number, and DEA number.
