Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for competently performing routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures, producing high-quality images for physicians and healthcare providers, and working independently to exercise sound judgment and developed clinical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • BLS (AHA) certification
  • CA CRT licensure
  • CA Venipuncture licensure
  • 1 year of experience in CT scanning or related field
