As a key member of our culinary team, the Experienced Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating and supervising the daily production of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily production and distribution of all pastries, desserts, and baked goods to ensure consistency and quality.
- Develop and implement seasonal menus to meet the needs of our clients and customers.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory levels, and maintenance of the pastry kitchen and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Supervise and train hourly kitchen/pastry associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to ensure seamless execution of menu items and special events.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a pastry chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Proven track record of creating high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
