Cape Cod Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Medical Physics Supervisor to join our Radiation Therapy team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy treatments to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibrations of external beam treatment units and brachytherapy sources and delivery units.
  • Conduct routine quality assurance evaluations of machines, treatment units, calculations, software, and patient treatment delivery.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and dose calculations for external beam therapy and brachytherapy.
  • Supervise clinical dosimetry and provide technical, clinical, and radiation protection instruction for staff.
  • Participate in the development of new treatment modalities and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical physics.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or PhD in Medical Physics or a related field.
  • Board Certification by ABR (American Board of Radiology) or ABMP (American Board of Medical Physics) is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in medical physics is required.
