Key Responsibilities

In this position, your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing, developing, and enhancing both new and existing services and features from initial concept through to deployment.
  • Implementing OCI standard tools alongside DevOps methodologies.
  • Establishing CI/CD environments to optimize deployments across various cloud applications.
  • Conducting thorough code and design reviews for products and features.
  • Troubleshooting performance and scalability challenges related to services.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the health, scalability, and resilience of products and services.
  • Creating and executing unit tests and plans.
  • Reviewing integration and regression testing strategies.

You will also be responsible for developing tools to monitor complex systems and high-volume transactions, ensuring seamless integration with other business applications while proactively identifying potential issues.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Java software development, with a focus on networking and security on Unix/Linux platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software and application design principles and architecture.
  • Experience in designing and building microservices and performance-driven APIs.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Experience in developing cloud services for both external and internal clients.
  • Proficiency in open-source technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Knowledge of Git and popular IDEs like Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, and IntelliJ.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
