Walker Methodist is seeking compassionate and skilled Resident Assistants to deliver high-quality personal care to our residents. As a key member of our care team, you will work under the direction of a nurse to provide hands-on care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications and provide medication reminders
  • Take accurate vital signs and monitor resident health
  • Perform specialized procedures, such as wound care and catheter care
  • Build positive relationships with residents and their families

Requirements:

  • Sensitivity to resident needs and ability to build positive relationships
  • Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
  • Minimum of high-school diploma or equivalent

  • Current MN Nursing Assistant certification
  • Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care setting
