About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Analyst to join our team at Eastern Bank. As a Data Governance Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and security of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and mitigate data risks and ensure data quality.
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks and tools to support data management and analytics initiatives.
  • Provide data governance training and support to employees to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in data governance.
  • Conduct data governance audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, or business administration.
  • 6-8 years of experience in data governance, data analysis, project management, or sales/customer relations.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
  • Experience with data use and policies within a highly regulated industry.
  • High-level understanding of data ecosystems and how data typically flows through them.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work and learn independently.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics to nontechnical individuals.
