Job Title: Network Administrator - Tier 2

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator - Tier 2 to join our team. As a key member of our network operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve network incidents and problems
  • Determine network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
  • Analyze, administer, and maintain voice, video, and/or data communications networks
  • Manage the usage and performance of voice, video and/or data communications networks
  • Maintain network to meet Enterprise Service Availability and Service Level Agreement requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of related Network Administration experience
  • Must possess and maintain a SECRET Clearance
  • BA/BS degree – may substitute additional years of experience
  • Must possess a completed CCNA certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with VoIP/VTC collaboration systems
  • Knowledge and experience with HAIPE-based encryption devices
  • Knowledge and experience with Multicast and GRE Routing
