Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Admissions Unit. This role is based in a dynamic healthcare environment. The position entails a full-time, permanent commitment.
Shift Details:
- Rotating Weekends (Days and Nights)
- Night Differential: $4.25 per hour
- Weekend Differential: $3.00 per hour
- Sign-on Bonus: $20,000
- Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
Job Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of patients during admission and throughout scheduled shifts, promptly identifying any changes in their condition.
- Performing medical procedures and monitoring patient responses as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation of care in medical records.
- Administering prescribed medications and monitoring patients for therapeutic responses, taking necessary actions for any adverse reactions.
- Delivering exceptional patient care by responding promptly to requests and proactively addressing patient needs.
- Educating patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications, ensuring clarity and understanding of complex medical information.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care nursing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Completion of a Registered Nurse Diploma program.
