**About the Role:**

 

We're looking for a skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our Starshield team at SpaceX. As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying highly available and scalable cloud-based systems that support our satellite constellation.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure for our satellite constellation
  • Develop and deploy highly available and scalable cloud-based applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system requirements
  • Maintain and improve existing cloud-based systems to ensure optimal performance

 

Requirements:

 

  • 7+ years of professional experience in cloud computing and software development
  • 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

 

**Compensation and Benefits:**

 

Our competitive salary range is $220,000 - $280,000 per year. In addition to your base salary, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, discretionary bonuses, and access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage. You will also receive paid vacation time, sick leave, and short- and long-term disability insurance.
