We are seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Architect to join our team and play a key role in supporting our mission to make humanity a multi-planetary species.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that will shape the future of space exploration. As a Cloud Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud-based systems to support our mission operations.

Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining software applications that meet the demanding requirements of our launch and spacecraft operations teams.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify system needs, design solutions, and implement changes that improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable cloud-based systems to support mission operations
  • Develop and maintain software applications that meet the demands of launch and spacecraft operations teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system needs and implement changes
  • Maintain high levels of system availability, performance, and security
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, software development, and system administration
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
