Job Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and production of Michelin parts and services. The successful candidate will be accountable for completing scheduled production in a timely manner and adhering to all safety and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble production parts using provided machines and tooling, adhering to standard work instructions and safety procedures.
- Practice safe work habits and follow accurate verbal and written procedures in operating production equipment and performing processing steps.
- Identify and escalate events that deviate from normal operation, participating in investigations as needed.
- Assist with training for less experienced personnel and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of standard work instructions.
- Interact with other support functions, such as Quality and Maintenance, to improve process operations and affect positive change.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the operational area (5S) and operate assigned equipment effectively.
- Be willing to cross-train in other departments and work overtime as required, including weekends.
- Support the EMS, QMS, and H&S systems and perform other duties as directed by management.

- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds and work in a hot environment.
- Repeated and coordinated use of arms, hands, wrists, and fingers to grasp small or large objects and use handheld tools.
- Paying careful attention to tasks to ensure safe, correct, and accurate assembly.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
- Basic math skills and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
