Shift Schedule:
12-hour shifts:

Training:
Initial training on 1st shift for 2 weeks

Objective:
To uphold the production goals of ensuring employee safety, product quality, and optimal operational efficiency through effective use of knowledge, training, and departmental resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Troubleshoot and adjust molding processes to ensure quality part production.
2. Monitor machine performance and rectify any issues to maintain quality standards.
3. Ensure auxiliary equipment is operational for optimal production.
4. Respond to machine alarms promptly.
5. Assist in mold setup and removal.
6. Conduct maintenance on molds and machinery.
7. Mix materials as required.
8. Ensure machine hoppers are adequately filled with materials.
9. Manage data input and extraction via computer systems.
10. Complete necessary paperwork related to production, processing, quality, and scrap.
11. Perform quality checks and understand Statistical Process Control (SPC).
12. Oversee full startup procedures after mold setup.
13. Train new operators on machinery and processes.
14. Transport finished products from the production area to the quality area using a hand truck.
15. Maintain cleanliness around machinery.
16. Grind parts and runners for reuse or resale.
17. Adhere to ISO and Quality Management Systems.
18. Provide own tools and toolbox.
19. Execute other assigned duties as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Good auditory skills are essential for distinguishing various machine sounds.
Ability to work with cleaning agents, polishing compounds, and lubricants.
Familiarity with molding, tooling, and machinery terminology for effective communication.
Physical capability to handle mold plates of varying weights during cleaning and assembly.
Ability to transport parts or molds from production to repair areas using carts.
Engage in product packing, lifting boxes up to 5 ft high, weighing up to 35 lbs, and stacking as needed.
Handle barrels weighing up to 300 lbs for material mixing.
Transfer materials from partial barrels into larger containers.
Perform tasks requiring bending and lifting of 50 lb bags of resin.
Utilize measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
Climb ladders for color changes as necessary.
Demonstrate analytical skills for problem-solving and planning.
Conduct visual inspections for product defects.
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Work safely and adhere to safety protocols.
Identify and report safety violations and hazardous conditions.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including hair nets, ear plugs, and steel-toed shoes.
Be prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations, directing others as needed.
Follow all departmental procedures and directives.

Qualifications:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in manufacturing environments.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
