Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Camera Hardware Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our Camera Technologies group, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative camera systems for our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop camera hardware for Apple products, including sensor, lens, and other camera components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera hardware
  • Model and analyze camera sub-system SI/PI performance and EM risk, and provide feedback and recommendations for design optimization
  • Assist senior team members in driving new design characterization, validation, and correlation
  • Participate in design feasibility studies for future technologies
  • Develop new simulation methodologies for sign-off analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in substrate, package, or flex/board level SI/PI simulations
  • Knowledge of high-speed signal and/or PDN fundamentals or electro-magnetic concepts
  • Experience with mainstream tool chain, such as HFSS, SI-Wave/PSI, Q3D, CST, and ADSP
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with VNA/TDR or Oscilloscope
  • Experience in camera or SI/PI technical areas
  • Great interpersonal skills to work with multi-functional teams
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive with critical thinking
