We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Electronics Engineer - Hardware Lead to join our team at Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems. This position will be based in Rancho Bernardo, CA and will be responsible for leading and developing a team of hardware and infrastructure engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of hardware and infrastructure engineers, ensuring the successful development and deployment of hardware solutions.
- Project Management: Manage infrastructure Jira projects, execute scrums, sprint plans, and priority deconfliction to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Staffing and Resource Management: Responsible for staffing management and content delivery plan between multiple business areas, ensuring the right resources are allocated to meet project needs.
- Release Planning: Plan and execute release content across multiple IFCs based on program milestones, working closely with Product Owners to prioritize content and execute work based on milestones and technical needs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of related engineering experience.
- Experience: Proven experience with systems engineering practices, Microsoft Visio, and other Office products to express engineering documentation.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) prior to commencement of employment.
- Current Clearance: Current Special Program Access.
- Leadership Experience: Experience as lead, functional, and/or Cost Account Manager.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of Cisco UCS Compute, NetApp ONTAP/StorageGrid, Cisco Nexus Networks, VMware virtualization (vSphere, NSX-T, Horizon, vRealize, and vCloud Foundation).
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
The salary range for this position is $133,000 - $199,600. Northrop Grumman offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
