Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States MRG Exams Full time
Company Overview
MRG Exams is a leading provider of Independent Medical Exams for Worker's Compensation, Disability, and the Veterans Administration. Established in 1998, our organization values delivering exceptional services to our clients.

About This Opportunity
This is an exciting part-time or full-time position as an Independent Contractor with MRG Exams, where you will perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Job Description
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person for each Veteran. Additionally, you will complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via the Web Portal. It's essential to note that you will not make disability determinations; instead, the U.S. Veterans Administration will use your findings recorded in the DBQs to make decisions. As an Independent Contractor, you will work independently, and it is crucial to understand that this role involves only performing Disability Assessments on Veterans and does not involve treating patients or prescribing medication.

Requirements
To be successful in this position, you must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program and hold an active and unrestricted Psychology license. You should also meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA. The average caseload per day is four Veterans, providing a balanced workload for the right candidate. Schedule options include part-time or full-time positions.

Benefits
As an Independent Contractor with MRG Exams, you will receive malpractice insurance coverage, along with options for health insurance. By joining our team, you will contribute to serving the Veteran community while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We encourage qualified individuals to apply for this opportunity.
