Personal Care Specialist (STNA) Role

This position involves providing exceptional care and support to patients in their end-of-life journey. As a Personal Care Specialist, you will work with patients in Eaton, Preble County, and southern Montgomery County, including Camden, Gratis, Germantown, Miamisburg, and West Carrollton.

Available Shifts

Full-time positions are available with shifts of Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8am to 6pm.

Essential Duties

As a Personal Care Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing superior care and support to patients in their homes or facilities
  • Assisting patients with their personal needs with dignity, compassion, and empathy
  • Working collaboratively with families to ensure the best possible care for their loved ones
  • Developing close relationships with patients and their families to provide personalized care
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in the State of Ohio
  • At least one year of experience in a related field
  • Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPNA) is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
