Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. This role is essential in developing and executing therapy programs tailored to the needs of students with speech, language, and hearing impairments.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  1. Planning:

    Designing individualized education programs that align with the district's educational philosophy. Engaging in continuous professional development through workshops, facility visits, and collaboration with colleagues.

  2. Programming:

    Creating annual educational plans based on each student's unique needs. Conducting mandatory hearing screenings and developing therapy plans for students. Coordinating schedules for exceptional students and providing necessary screenings.

  3. Public Relations:

    Collaborating with school staff to enhance ESE services. Leading in-service training for teachers to promote understanding of ESE goals and strategies. Offering instructional resources for classroom integration of exceptional students.

  4. Reporting:

    Maintaining accurate evaluation records for each student. Providing progress reports to school personnel and parents, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Valid certification in the state of Georgia.

Preferred:

  • Certificate of clinical competence (ASHA).
  • Experience in public school settings.
