The Industrial Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and upkeep of facilities and equipment, including machines, mechanical systems, buildings, and other structures. This position supervises a maintenance crew in the completion of routine maintenance, emergency repairs, installations, and overhauls.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and train maintenance personnel, organize schedules, and assign maintenance work activities.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures (routine, emergency, and preventative) for assigned facilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Evaluate the functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment, identifying problems and requirements.
- Contribute to the development of and enforce budgets and goals, as well as short-term plans, annual plans, and long-range capital and operating plans.
- Act as project manager on capital projects; solicit bids, supervise contractors, and ensure contract compliance with insurance and safety requirements.
- Ensure record keeping and reporting is maintained according to established standards.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment through training and enforcement of safety standards and procedures; ensure activities are in compliance with legal codes and regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or required.
- 3-5 years' relevant experience required.
- Prior leadership experience.
