Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at H & H Inc. This role is integral to our ongoing projects focused on transportation infrastructure. As a leading infrastructure engineering firm with over 135 years of expertise, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct electrical design and inspection for various systems including low/high power distribution, industrial control, and lighting systems.
  • Prepare detailed contract plans, special provisions, and engineering estimates.
  • Review engineering drawings and provide recommendations for necessary modifications.
  • Research and document design alternatives for project managers.
  • Engage in both office and fieldwork to ensure project success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-EAC accredited program; specialization in Electrical Power Systems is preferred.
  • Possession of a Virginia PE license or the ability to obtain one.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • A highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, capable of collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel for short-term assignments as needed.
