Job Overview

Position Summary: A Maintenance Technician with 4 to 5 years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding Maintenance is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and facilities.

  1. Execute all preventive maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  2. Perform oiling, greasing, and cleaning of equipment and work areas as required.
  3. Diagnose and repair machinery and equipment based on work orders.
  4. Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards consistently.
  5. May be tasked with additional duties, including training and program management, as determined by the management team.
  6. Review and manage the following documentation:
  • Rev B, Equipment Listing
  • Daily PM Checks for Power House
  • Monthly PM Checks for Air Compressor, Floor Sweeper, Thermolator, Dryers, and Robots
  • Quarterly PM Checks for Sprinkler System
  • Weekly Checks for Conveyor
  • Monthly Checks for Vacuum Pump and IMM
  • Daily Assembly Fixture Verification
Follow established work instructions related to maintenance tasks.Complete additional assignments as directed by the supervisor or management.Possess a fundamental understanding of TS16949 and the Quality Policy.Report safety issues and injuries promptly, regardless of severity.Maintain plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards.Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing on concrete surfaces while performing repairs.
  • Occasional walking during maintenance tasks.
  • Regular lifting from floor to waist level.
  • Frequent reaching and extending arms for equipment repairs.
  • Consistent turning and twisting during job functions.
  • Occasional bending and stooping.

Skills and Qualifications: Candidates should possess mechanical aptitude, with a minimum of an Associate Degree or equivalent experience in maintenance. Experience in an industrial production environment is preferred, along with troubleshooting skills. Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work overtime on short notice are essential. Knowledge of safety protocols in an industrial setting is required.
