Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Tennis Front Desk, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and members alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute procedures as outlined in the desk manual to maintain high standards of service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering phones, taking messages, and transferring calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay knowledgeable about club amenities and surroundings to effectively communicate with members and guests.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with members and staff, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment.
  • Ensure the front desk is clean, maintained, and organized at all times, reflecting the high standards of Genesis Health Clubs.
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations, prioritizing member and guest safety.
Expectations
  • Present a professional demeanor at all times, representing Genesis Health Clubs with integrity and enthusiasm.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to support club goals and objectives, driving success and growth.
  • Respond to common inquiries and complaints from members, providing solutions and support in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, ensuring coverage during peak periods.
  • Current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date, prioritizing member and guest safety.
  • Ability to work well with others, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Experience in cash handling and credit card processing, ensuring accuracy and security.
  • Excellent customer service skills, providing a positive experience for members and guests.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods, ensuring effective service delivery.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking, to interact with guests and associates.
