MARKETING SPECIALIST

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Assisting in the execution of the marketing strategy and budget while upholding the PCB brand through community involvement, social media initiatives, and visual design.


ACCOUNTABILITIES
Implements outreach initiatives or events. Manages all facets of event coordination including planning, logistics, vendor relations, etc.


Strengthens the PCB brand presence in the regional markets by fostering relationships with clients, community stakeholders, nonprofit leaders, and other influential figures.

Identifies potential opportunities, events, and community activities where PCB should have a presence. Connects engagement opportunities to the relevant internal teams while also representing the organization at various functions.

Supports the Marketing Director in overseeing the bank's corporate giving initiatives and community engagement efforts.

Develops content and visually appealing designs for the website and promotional materials.

Contributes to the design and content strategies for social media platforms.

Creates, produces, and disseminates both external and internal marketing communications.


Maintains a strong awareness of the bank's sales culture; actively makes sales referrals and encourages all market segments to utilize the PCB suite of financial services.

Actively engages in community and civic organizations, as appropriate, to positively represent the bank and the community.


As part of the overall team of bank employees, this position may be requested to assist in the support of other bank activities.

Collaborates closely with the Marketing Director's overall strategy and budget while maintaining open communication.

QUALIFICATIONS
Prefer a four-year degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field. Prefer a minimum of one year of professional marketing experience.

Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Possess strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with sales and other departments within the bank.

Maintain a working knowledge of bank policies and procedures, as well as marketing regulations.
