About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by providing sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment, and services.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the activities of the Central Sterile Processing Department to provide sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment, and services for patient care.
  • Utilize knowledge of aseptic techniques and body mechanics to ensure the highest level of patient safety.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical equipment and supplies to ensure proper handling and maintenance.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest sterilization techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience in a sterile processing position preferred.
  • Sterile Processing certification required (IAHCSMM or CBSPD).
  • Basic computer skills and medical terminology knowledge required.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
