Position Overview

The Wealth Management Advisor will report directly to the Manager of Investment Services and will play a crucial role in our newly established Wealth Management Department. This position is responsible for addressing the advisory needs of clients within a designated geographic area. The Wealth Management Advisor acts as a trusted consultant and advocate for clients, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of their financial situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing and addressing client investment requirements, including constraints, liquidity needs, and future financing scenarios.
  • Ensuring adherence to clients' investment objectives and policies, monitoring portfolio activities, and providing strategic recommendations for rebalancing.
  • Maintaining compliance with internal protocols and audit procedures.
  • Reviewing agreements to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Managing and expanding a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
  • Developing and implementing tailored investment strategies based on clients' goals and risk tolerance.
  • Delivering personalized portfolio advice through proactive client engagement.
  • Utilizing client relationship management software to enhance client interactions.
  • Employing financial planning tools to create customized solutions for clients.
  • Accepting assets in accordance with operational control procedures, ensuring compliance with all policies.
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to enhance market knowledge and sales skills.
  • Staying informed on financial news and research to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with community professionals, including attorneys and accountants.
  • Fostering long-term client relationships through effective financial planning and guidance.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory roles.
  • Ability to lead client discussions in a fiduciary capacity.
  • Possession of a Series 7, 65, or 66 securities license.
  • California Life and Health insurance license required.
  • Demonstrated approachability, flexibility, and dependability in a performance-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Proactive outreach to clients for account service and management.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and economic conditions.
