In this role, you will deliver advanced therapeutic interventions and holistic care to address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges faced by individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, amputations, and multiple traumas.

Key Responsibilities

Position Summary:
Evaluate all assigned patients and formulate, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and physician directives. Oversee and guide all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Ensure the creation of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective reintegration into community activities. Act as an educator for patients, families, students, colleagues, and oneself. Perform additional professional duties related to patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and program delivery design.

Specific Duties:
  • Assess assigned patients and set appropriate treatment objectives and programs.
  • Coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical and therapeutic services as well as available community resources.
  • Establish comprehensive goals for patient treatment to optimize outcomes and facilitate return to community activities.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for certification pending professional experience is required.
  • Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment is required.
